The house of Artan Behrami, a former adviser to the former president of the provisional Pristina institutions Hashim Thaci and one of the leaders of Thaci's KLA ("Kosovo Liberation Army") was searched this morning, Tanjug cited Pristina-based media as reporting.

The search was carried out by order of the Specialist Prosecutor's Office, and the Reporteri website said it learned that Behrami's phone was confiscated.

This came after Behrami criticized the Specialist Chambers on Facebook yesterday, claiming that it punishes only Albanians and calling it "fascist."

Behrami also criticized yesterday's searches that were carried out in the houses of former Thaci advisers Blerim Shala and Baski Smakaj.

The trial of former leaders of the so-called KLA Hashim Thaci, Kadri Veseli, Rexhep Selimi and Jakub Krasniqi, which began on April 3, is ongoing in The Hague, where the Chambers and the Prosecution are located.

The four are accused of politically and ethnically motivated persecution, illegal imprisonment and detention, other inhumane acts, cruel treatment, forced disappearances, torture, and murder.

These are qualified as crimes against humanity and war crimes.
