Searches were conducted in several locations, related to the events in the village of Banjska

The deputy director of the so-called Kosovo police for the northren region, Veton Elsani, said this morning that searches were underway at several locations in the north of Kosovo and Metohija, in connection with the events in Banjska on September 24.

Several police and EULEX (EU mission) vehicles were stationed this morning in Kolasinska Street in Kosovska Mitrovica, in front of a residential building not far from the PIO (state pension fund) offices, reports Radio Kosovska Mitrovica.

Elsani said that this was in connection with the "Banjska case" and did not specify which other locations were also being searched.

"For now, there have been no arrests," Elsani added.
