New KFOR commander received by General Mojsilovic: Importance of cooperation stressed during the meeting

Chief of the General Staff of the Serbian Army General Milan Mojsilovic today received KFOR commander Major General Ozkan Ulutas, who assumed this duties last week.
At the meeting in Belgrade, they discussed the current security situation in Kosovo and Metohija and the activities that can be undertaken to improve peace and security in the area of the southern Serbian province.
During the conversation, General Mojsilovic pointed out that the Serbian Army, in accordance with Resolution 1244 of the United Nations Security Council and the Military Technical Agreement, recognizes KFOR as the only legitimate armed formation in Kosovo and Metohija and expressed the expectation that this international security forces will take the necessary steps to deescalate the situation in the province and to protect the Serb national, cultural, historical and religious heritage.
The chief of the General Staff stressed the importance of cooperation at all established levels between the Serbian Army and KFOR, with the aim of preserving security and crisis prevention, with full and impartial implementation of the mandate given to KFOR by the United Nations Security Council.
