Drama near Sremska Mitrovica kindergarten: Man threatens to throw bomb unless his child is enrolled

The police in Sremska Mitrovica today arrested I.S. (33) on suspicion of committing the crime of endangering security.

Earlier in the morning, he threatened to throw a bomb at a kindergarten in the Kamenjar neighborhood in Sremska Mitrovica, eyewitnesses told the officers.

It is not known whether the suspect in fact had an explosive device in his possession at the time.

"We saw a man in the skate park next to the kindergarten, he was annoyed and shouted that he was going to throw a bomb because it was a digrace that his child was not enrolled in the kindergarten. We got scared and locked ourselves in the apartment", says one mother who happened to be nearby.

After receiving the report, the police in Sremska Mitrovica brought I.S in for questioning.

He will be taken before the Basic Public Prosecutor's Office in Sremska Mitrovica.
