Videos of Kosovo police raid on Clinical-Hospital Center in Kosovska Mitrovica

The Kosovo police forced their way into the Clinical-Hospital Center (KBC) in northern Kosovska Mitrovica this morning, the director of that medical institution, Dr. Zlatan Elek, confirmed for Kosovo Online.

Elek said that the special forces of the Kosovo police were still in the hospital at that point and were conducting a search, which upset the employees as well as the patients.

"They are conducting a search of the laundry room and certain offices at the entrance to the hospital. Without any knowledge of the hospital administration and hospital management, Dr. Dragisa Milovic and I, as the director, established contact with them, they told us that they have a search warrant from a court. They are still in in the hospital area, there is great distress among patients and employees," Elek told Kosovo Online earlier in the morning.

As reported by Kosovo Online, armored vehicles of the special units of the Kosovo police are also located near the cafe Grey in northern Kosovska Mitrovica, which is 10 meters away from the Danica Jaramaz preschool. Parents were taking away the children who were terrified by the scene, and EULEX (EU mission in Kosovo and Metohija) was also present.

The Kosovo police announced on Facebook that they are carrying out the order of a competent court to check five locations in three municipalities in the north of Kosovo.

"The police operation related to the latest events in Banjska is ongoing, so far no arrests have been made," said acting commander of the Kosovo police for the northern region, Veton Elsani.

Unofficially, police operations are also carried out in Zvecan and Zubin Potok.
