"Mother from hell" indicted : She tied 3-year-old's hands in baby chair and left her out on balcony in winter

The Basic Court in Pancevo confirmed the indictment against J.M. (32) on charges of domestic violence, Telegraf.rs has learned.

She has been accused of abusing her 3-year-old daughter. According to unofficial information, the woman would tie the toddler's hands in a baby chair, put her out of the apartment onto the balcony in winter, while cursing and hitting her.

The suspect decided to remain silent during the questioning at the prosecution's office.

For months, her husband suspected that she was torturing their daughter, but had no proof. Then, reportedly, he decided to install a hidden camera. He next went to the police with the footage.

In early March, the Basic Public Prosecutor's Office in Pancevo, in cooperation with the police in Pancevo, arrested J.M., a resident of that town, for committing the crime of domestic violence, because she mistreated and beat her minor daughter.

"In the period from December 2022 to March 21 of this year, in the family apartment in Pancevo, J.M. committed acts of violence against her minor daughter, by cursing her, calling her derogatory names, tying her hands in a baby chair and placing her outdoors (in winter conditions), on the balcony," the prosecution in Pancevo said.
