Kosovo police assault and beat up two Serb youths: Incident in Serb enclave Gracanica

Last night, in the center of Gracanica, a Serb enclave in Kosovo and Metohija, members of the Kosovo police assaulted two young Serbs (24 and 19 years old).

One of the young men ended up in the hospital, while the other was taken to the police station, in front of which the locals began to gather in protest.

According to those gathered, the incident occurred when a police patrol stopped the young men who were in a car and proceeded to issue them a seat belt ticket, writes Kosovo Online.

The young men asked that the fine be issued in the Serbian language, after which they were asked "if they know where they live" - and then the policemen pulled them out of the car and, according to eyewitnesses, beat them up in the street.
