Vucic: I pointed out to Lajcak the issue of security of Serbs in Kosovo and Metohija, I'll repeat it Thursday
President of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic said today that he pointed out the problem of the security of citizens of Serb nationality in Kosovo and Metohija to the European Union's special envoy for dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina, Miroslav Lajcak.
After 21-year-old Kosovo Serb Strahinja Petrovic from Gracanica was beaten up, Vucic was asked whether he would bring up the problem of safety Serbs in Kosovo and Metohija when he goes to Brussels this week. He replied that he would do so on Thursday during a meeting within the dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina.
"All I can say is that I have already spoken with Miroslav Lajcak and pointed out to that problem. I will continue to do so and on Thursday I will point out to that problem," Vucic said during a tour of the start of construction works on the factory of the Austrian company Palfinger in Nis.
Three unknown Albanians beat up Strahinja Petrovic while he was on his way to the village of Dobrotin, not far from Lipljan. As Petrovic confirmed for Tanjug, the case was reported to the so-called Kosovo police.
