Government decides: Here is how much money each basketballer and coach will get for winning World Cup silver

The Government of Serbia has made a decision to award Serbia's nationa basketball team, each of its members, lucrative cash prizes for winning silver at the recently concluded Basketball World Cup.

At a meeting, a decision was made that players and head coach Svetislav Pesic will receive a prize of 25,000 euros each.

In the Philippines, the Serbian squad exceeded all expectations and, despite predictions, reached the final, where Germany was better.

Men's gold at the 3x3 Europe Cup was also awarded by the government, with each player and coach Marko Zder receiiving 20,000 euros.
