The real truth about what the boy from Kragujevac took
A boy (9) from Kragujevac has admitted that he took a sedative from his grandparents and swallowed it, Telegraf.rs has learned.
Toxicology tests to confirm this are awaited.
Telegraf.rs has learned that the boy said he had been sick for the past few days and that he had been taking ibuprofen. The evening before he was taken ill in front of a school in Kragujevac, he took a sedative from his grandparents.
Media at first reported that he had a candy containing drugs, however, the police in Kragujevac say that blood tests showed he was not positive for amphetamine or ecstasy.
Earlier, the police increased checks in the immediate vicinity of the school the boy attends.
Fortunately, as we were told today at the University Clinical Center of Kragujevac, the child is out of danger and was in the pediatric intensive care unit.
"The child's physical parameters are stable and he is out of danger. His treatment is continuing and his condition is being monitored," Telegraf.rs was told at the Kragujevac University Hospital.
