Kurti's new ultimatum: In 3 days, he wants to drive 40 Serbs into the street, depriving vulnerable of help

The fake and illegal mayor Erden Atic yesterday, on the direct order of Albin Kurti, sent his representatives to a building housing the premises of the Office for Kosovo and Metohija, the Office of the Directorate of PIO (pension insurance) Fund, the Kosovo-Mitrovica Administrative District and the Center for Social Welfare Vucitrn, located in the Bosnjacka Mahala neighborhood in Kosovska Mitrovica and gave them an ultimatum to move out within three days, said the director of the Office for Kosovo and Metohija, Petar Petkovic.

"In this way, the livelihood and right to work of about 40 employees who work in this building and provide services to Serbs, Albanians, Bosniaks, Gorani, Romani are directly endangered... The institutions located in this building, such as the PIO Fund provide pension and disability insurance for tens of thousands of users of all nationalities, while as many as 120 socially vulnerable families depend on the work of the Center for Social Welfare," stated Petkovic.

With the ultimatum and the latest move, Atic and his boss Kurti want to directly threaten the existence of these people and their right to work, abd that of others to receive assistance, noted Petkovic.

"We will not allow such a scenario to happen, just as we will not allow the threatening of the livelihood of dozens of employees, and thousands of social welfare assistance beneficiaries who depend on the work of these institutions that Atic wants to evict and shut down. Such unilateral and illegal moves by the fake mayor, for whom neither the Serbs nor the Albanians voted, lead to a new rise in tensions and cause a crisis on the ground and do not go in the direction of any de-escalation, but a direct escalation," said Petkovic and added:

"Kurti, through his minions, is carrying out moves that are a direct threat to peace and stability in these areas, while the international community is silent and silently observes them. While we have been listening to international representatives for weeks saying that illegitimate and fake mayors will not make any executive decisions, every day on the ground we witness violent and illegal moves by Kurti's "gauleiters" against the Serb people, whose only goal is to expel all that is Serb from the north of Kosovo and Metohija."
