Vucic: I didn't agree with WB leaders about more effective application of sanctions against Russia
President of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic said today that at yesterday's informal meeting of the leaders of the Western Balkan countries, he did not agree with the part of their declaration that talks about "somewhat more effective application of sanctions against Russia."
"I can't quote, but there's a whole paragraph about it and there was another one, I talked about it, but I'll read it to you precisely - but that was the conversation between us and everyone else, how it goes in circles, the first version, then the intermediate version, then the third version, etc. It is not simple and not always easy, but you are looking at how much you can protect the interests of your country.
That's what's important," said the president in an address to the media after today's meeting with President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky.
The president said that a "hot fall" is ahead and that the situation in Ukraine is not easy and simple, that nothing is going fast and will not be solved quickly and, "there are still many problems ahead."
