Minister Djukic Dejanovic reveals for Telegraf where elementary school shooter K.K. will continue education
Minister of Education Dr. Slavica Djukic Dejanovic told Telegraf.rs that K.K., a student who committed a massacre at the Vladislav Ribnikar Elementary School in Belgrade in early May, will most likely finish his elementary education at the school named after Dr. Dragan Hercog.
The media previously reported that the teacher's council at Vladislav Ribnikar had already made a decision to expel this boy.
The minister could not confirm this at the time we spoke with her, but explained that she assumes the teachers' council will most likely issue a reprimand, which implies continued education in another school.
"Since he is not in a position to attend school because he is (held) in a healthcare institution, the Dr. Dragan Hercog school is the one that children who are undergoing hospital treatment attend," Minister of Education Djukic Dejanovic told Telegraf.rs.
Primary education is mandatory in Serbia.
