First photos: This is where ceiling collapsed on a child! Building manager is outraged, here's who he blames

We were afraid of this all the time, the manager of the building in a street in Zemun, where the ceiling fell on a 10-year-old today, immediately commented for Telegraf.rs.

The ceiling collapesed in a passageway between the two entrances. Miraculously, as we have unofficially learned, the child escaped with only scratches, but was taken to the hospital for additional tests.

"The building was built in 1963 and since then nothing has been invested in it. The ceiling just fell onto the kid. He was conscious, got scratches and was taken away in an ambulance. The ceiling had cracked, it was reported, but no one reacted," said the building manager.

He added the contractors are exclusively to blame and reiterated that it seemed as if the ceiling just came off.

Other residents gathered in the passage, concerned about what had happened.

"We have a problem in that our building is getting lower, as if it's sinking, this is our cry for help," he said.
