20-year-old suspected of killing baby and throwing it into well: Horror in Croatia
Police officers in Lika-Senj, Croatia completed an extensive and complex criminal investigation regarding the discovery of the body of a newborn in the Perusic area, which was found on August 4, Zadarski.hr writes.
The criminal investigation established that the suspect, a 20-year-old Croatian woman, committed the crime of aggravated murder.
"For the sake of protection and well-being of the family, the police are unable to provide more details about the investigation," the they said.
The Slobodna Lika portal announced that the body of a newborn was found in a village well in Prvan Selo near Perusic.
The baby's body was found by a farmer when he came to get water from the well for his cattle.
The newborn was found in an almost deserted neighborhood, so it is assumed that it was brought there.
