Vucic starts visit to RS with tour of Osovica monastery: Symbol of unity, faith, hope and strength

Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic announced today that he has begun his visit to the RS (Serb Republic - Serb entity in Bosnia-Herzegovina) with a tour of the magnificent Serbian Orthodox monastery Osovica, accompanied by RS President Milorad Dodik and Serbian Orthodox Church (SPC) Patriarch Porfirije.

"The endowment of (Serbian medieval ruler) King Dragutin Nemanjic and a witness to our very difficult fate and history in this region, this monastery is the center of the assembly of the faithful and the preservation of our identity throughout centuries," Vucic wrote on his Instagram account "buducnostsrbijeav."

Along with this, the president also posted a video. "As a symbol of unity, faith, hope and strength, it is also the best place where we will start discussions on very important topics for Serbia, the RS, and all Serbs," said Vucic.

The president of Serbia today started his two-day visit to the RS, during which he will tomorrow in Prijedor, RS, attend a commemoration to mark the 28th anniversary of the pogrom of Serbs during "Operation Storm," which was carried out by the Croatian army.
