Another tragedy on rail tracks: Truck and a passenger train collide near Valjevo, man killed

At a level crossing on the Belgrade-Bar railway, a truck this morning collided with a train traveling on the Belgrade-Uzice route.

The truck driver was killed.

The tragedy happened around 10:10 am near Valjevo.

The as yet unidentified male driver died instantly from his injuries.

Last night, at the Vrcin level crossing, a locomotive that was not pulling train cars hit the right side of a Peugeot 308 resulting in the deaths of two youths.

The emergency team that arrived at the scene confirmed the death of the driver, 18-year-old Vuk G. and of a passenger, a girl, 16-year-old A.B.
