Igor Mirovic receives Chinese Ambassador Chen Bo in farewell visit

President of the Vojvodina Provincial Government Igor Mirovic today received Ambassador of the People's Republic of China to the Republic of Serbia Chen Bo, in a farewell visit.

On that occasion, Mirovic thanked the ambassador for her dedicated work, which, he said, mirrored the sincere friendship between Serbia and China and our peoples.

"The concrete effects of our sincere friendship are the numerous joint projects that are implemented together in Serbia, and particularly in Vojvodina. With your dedication to our common work, you have contributed to the fact that a lot has been done so far, for which we in Vojvodina are immensely grateful," said Mirovic.

Ambassador Chen Bo pointed out that China is a reliable partner in the economic development of Serbia and Vojvodina.

"In our cooperation, Vojvodina plays an important role," stressed the ambassador and added that more and more businesspeople from China are interested in doing business in Serbia's northern province.

Chen Bo expressed her sadness because of the victims and consequences caused by the recent storms in Vojvodina and added that the Chinese Embassy and Chinese companies are available to help Serbian citizens.
