Latest weather alert: Gale-force wind to follow hot days, temperature to drop as much as 15 degrees
Hailstorms are expected in the thunderstorm zones, as well as stormy winds that may reach gale-force (> 28 m/s) for short spells of time
The Republic Hydrometeorological Institute of Serbia (RHMZ) has issued two warnings for the upcoming period. The first refers to high temperatures and will be in effect until tomorrow, while the second has to do with a sudden change in weather.
According to the RHMZ website, the high temperatures warning will be in effect today and tomorrow. The highs in most places will range from 34 to 37 degrees Celsius, while tomorrow in central and southern Serbia it will be even hotter with temperatures of 37 to 40 degrees.
The second warning will be in effect from tomorrow (Tuesday), and on Wednesday and refers to a sudden change in weather.
As explained on the RHMZ website, on Tuesday, at the end of the day in the north, and on Wednesday in other parts of Serbia, a sudden onset of rain, showers, and thunder is forecast, while the temperature will drop by about 15 degrees.

This Monday, it will be sunny and warm in Serbia. Morning temperatures ranged from 16 to 22°C, the daily highs will be from 34 to 37°C.
