Extraordinary session of Provincial Government because of the storm: Consequences and damage to be assessed

On Thursday, July 20, starting at 12 noon, an extraordinary session of the Provincial Government of the northern province of Vojvodina will be held, to which members of the provincial emergency situations staff have been invited.

"I have just scheduled an extraordinary session of the Provincial Government to which I have also invited members of the Provincial Headquarters for Emergency Situations with the aim of obtaining initial information about the consequences and assessment of the damage caused by the big storm and helping the local governments to repair the damage as soon as possible.

I ask that all services use their full capacity to help in remediating the consequences, for which we will provide additional funds starting tomorrow," announced Igor Mirovic, the head of the provincial government.
