Meetings in Brussels end: No trilateral meeting took place
The meetings in Brussels between the EU's special envoy for dialogue, Miroslav Lajcak, with the head of the Belgrade negotiation team, Petar Petkovic, and the chief negotiator of the provisional Pristina institutions, Besnik Bislimi, ended last night, but no trilateral meeting took place.
"The delegation from Belgrade participated in the talks with Lajcak and his team, in a meeting between Petkovic and Lajcak, as well as in bilateral talks lasting several hours. As always, Belgrade was ready for direct talks with Pristina," Tanjug was told by the Serbian delegation.
The EU previously stated that it hopes for a trilateral meeting.
