A young man who just turned 18 died in an accident on the Ibar highway today, Telegraf.rs has learned.

According to eyewitnesses, at one point he lost control of the car and "flew" under a truck at full speed. The vehicle then bounced and hit another car.

"We don't know what happened and for what reason he lost control (of the car). It seemed to me that he was speeding. The car got crushed. There was no way for him to make it," says our source close to the investigation.

While the investigation was ongoing, both lanes were closed.

The body of the unfortunate young man was sent for an autopsy, and the vehicle for an expert examination.
