Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic met today with Miroslav Lajcak, the EU representative for dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina and other regional issues in the Western Balkans.

Vucic published the details of their conversation on his Instagram.

"I spoke with Miroslav Lajcak about the situation in Kosovo and Metohija, ways to calm the tension on the ground and implementation of the agreements reached so far.

I once again warned that the Serb people in Kosovo and Metohija are exposed to the most severe torture and persecution in the last 15 years and reiterated the demands for respecting their rights and security.

I called on the international community to engage more concretely on all these issues".
