160 irregular migrants found in Subotica during increased control
160 irregular migrants were found during an operation of increased control of migrants carried out by the Serbian police in Subotica, in cooperation with the Gendarmerie and the border police in Kikinda, Sombor, and Novi Sad.
The operation took place on the outskirts of the city of Subotica and the settlement of Palic, and the migrants have been transported to a reception center.
The operation was carried out as part of continuous work to suppress irregular migration, and the police will continue to carry out regular checks of the movement and stay of migrants in order to preserve safety and security of all citizens, as well as the migrants themselves.
