Recognition of quality: Macron congratulates Vucic on Serbia getting to host Expo 2027

President of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic received a congratulatory letter from President France Emmanuel Macron, for Serbia being selected to the host the Specialized Exhibition EXPO 2027.

"I send you my most cordial congratulations, as well as to the whole of Serbia, on the occasion of the selection of Belgrade as the city that will host the Specialized Exhibition 2027, which will be held from May 15 to August 15, 2027. This is a recognition of the quality of the project with which Serbia presented itself with theme 'Play for Humanity - Sport and Music for All'. Organizing this great event in Belgrade will strengthen international reputation and influence of the capital of Serbia," the message reads and adds:

"France, as a participating country, intends to actively contribute to the success of the Specialized Exhibition in 2027. Mr. President, please accept expressions of my very deep respect. With friendly feelings, until we meet soon."
