Prime Minister of the Republic of Serbia Ana Brnabic spoke yesterday in Belgrade with Prime Minister of the Netherlands Mark Rutte, and Prime Minister of Luxembourg Xavier Bettel, and assessed that this visit represents a unique and very important political event.

Brnabic pointed out that the visit of the two prime ministers shows that bilateral relations with those two countries are very good, and that their arrival in Belgrade particularly intensified the political dialogue.

The prime minister said that with the Netherlands and Luxembourg, which are among the most important economic partners of Serbia, successful economic cooperation and an inflow of investments are being achieved.

She pointed out that EU integration is Serbia's foreign policy priority, as well as that the support of the Netherlands and Luxembourg is of key importance for speeding up this process. Brnabic informed the interlocutors about the reforms that Serbia is undertaking on this path, especially in the areas of justice and freedom of the media and safety of journalists.

Brnabic told her counterparts that Belgrade is fully committed to the dialogue with Pristina and added that the issue of unconditional protection and ensuring the safety of members of the Serb community in Kosovo and Metohija is equally important for Belgrade.

"We are committed to preserving peace and stability in Kosovo and Metohija, as well as finding a solution in dialogue, which is evidenced by the constructive approach that the Serbian side continuously takes," Brnabic stressed.

The interlocutors agreed on the importance of preserving peace and stability in the Balkans, as well as the importance of the European perspective of the Republic of Serbia and the entire Western Balkans.
