President of Serbia receives invitation from the Saudi King: "It is a great honor for me to visit"
Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Osamah bin Dakhel Al Ahmadi brought a very important letter to the Presidency of Serbia today, which has never been sent to any president of the Republic of Serbia - with this letter, King Salman bin Abdulaziz al-Saud is inviting President Aleksandar Vucic to visit Saudi Arabia.
President Vucic was very pleased by this invitation. Not only because of the extraordinary honor shown to him by the Saudi ruler, but mostly because that powerful country considers Serbia a partner with which it wants to expand cooperation in all areas. The two countries are celebrating the tenth anniversary of establishing diplomatic relations this year, and they still have a lot to do in various fields.
Saudi Arabia is a symbol of economic power, which is based on oil - it has the second largest reserves of in the world, but it is the world's largest exporter.
President Vucic's visit to Saudi Arabia will be an opportunity to familiarize himself with the "Saudi Vision 2030" program, whose goal is to increase the diversity of the Saudi economy, as well as modernize the country in general.
The whole world is talking about the NEOM project, conceived on the principle of smart-city technology and renewable energy sources, for which the state is allocating 500 billion dollars.
Otherwise, representatives of the Government of Serbia established contacts with the Saudi Development Fund, as did the chambers of commerce, by setting up the Serbian-Saudi Business Council.
