Chaos on the Sava River in Belgrade: Ship crashes into marina, damages approach, and two boats

A ship crashed into the marina on the fifth kilometer of the Sava River in New Belgrade.

"There were no injuries, while the approach to the the marina has been damaged, as well as two boats," said a Blic source.

Allegedly, according to unofficial information, the controls on the ship got blocked while setting sail.

Crew members were breathalyzed at the scene.

Members of the River Safety Unit of the Belgrade River Police responded immediately.

"The crew members were detained until the arrival of the officials of the Department for the Inspection of Navigation Safety to undertake official actions that will contribute to determining the cause of the accident on the Sava. The crew members got breathalyzed at the scene," the Blic source said.
