The Higher Court in Kraljevo announced today that it confirmed the indictment and made a decision to release Kosovo police officers from jail pending trial.

Police officers Rifat Zeka, Becir Sefi and Mustafa Semi were arrested on June 14 in the territory of central Serbia, and they appeared before the court in Kraljevo today.

They were initially remanded in custody for 30 days.

On June 14, members of the special units of the Serbian police arrested the three Kosovo policement armed to the teeth, while in the territory of central Serbia.

The head of state, Aleksandar Vucic, was urgently informed about this operation. At the time he was at the Russian embassy, where he attended a reception to celebrate Russia Day, and after receiving the information, he went to the Presidency of Serbia.

Rifat Zeka, Becir Sefi and Mustafa Semi had been detained.
