Serbian Army Chief of General Staff's unscheduled address: If Supreme Commander's order arrives, we're ready
The Chief of the General Staff of the Serbian Armed Forces, General Milan Mojsilovic, on Friday addressed the nation regarding the situation in Kosovo and Metohija.
"The Serb people are exposed to a terrible pogrom. Their only fault are their Serb names. The terror that Kurti carries out can no longer be physically endured. I informed the KFOR commander that we are following the events with trepidation and that we demand are protective measures," he said and added:
"The Serbian Army respects all its international obligations, but today it is clear that the international community is not fulfilling its obligations. The Army, in accordance with the Serbian Constitution and the UN Charter, if it receives the order from the supreme commander - people, it will carry out all the tasks put before it, in full," said Mojsilovic.
Another Serb was arrested in Kosovo and Metohija. This is a utility company worker, Nenad O., who was surrounded by Pristina's special police in Kosovska Mitrovica and then detained.
On Thursday, President of the Republic of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic was in Brussels where he met with the EU Commissioner for Foreign Policy and Security Josep Borrell and EU Special Envoy for Dialogue Miroslav Lajcak.
