Nenad O. is another Serb arrested in northern Kosovska Mitrovica. Special units of the Kosovo police detained the Serb, a family man who works in a local utility company, reports Kosovo Online.

The arrest took place near a bus station, when special forces of the Kosovo police, in armored vehicles, surrounded it, and then detained Nenad O.

Since the arrival of Albanian mayors in the majority-Serb municipalities in the north of Kosovo, eight Serbs have been arrested, while residents of enclaves of Gracanica and Ranilug yesterday protested against the previous arrest earlier in the week, that of Dragisa Milovanovic.

Meanwhile, protests in the north in front of municipal buildings in Leposavic, Zvecan and Zubin Potok entered the 26th day, with Serbs expressing their dissatisfaction with the presence of special police forces, the imposing of illegitimate Albanian mayors and the groundless arrests of compatriots that have taken place in recent weeks.
