Serbian citizen suspected of killing daughter (3) in Switzerland, stepmother arrested: "He fought to have her"

Police in Switzerland arrested a man and a woman, citizens of Serbia, on suspicion that they killed a 3-year-old girl.

According to the Swiss media, the father (24) and stepmother (24) have been arrested.

According to reports, the girl was killed on Friday, and a few hours before the tragedy, the father posted photos of happy children on Instagram.

As reported by the media, the father and stepmother called an ambulance on Friday around 8:20 pm, stating that the girl could not breathe. The doctor pronounced the girl.

It was soon established that she had numerous injuries on her body.

"The injuries were suspicious and an investigation was launched," the prosecution stated briefly.

During the autopsy, it was established that the girl died from injuries caused by blows.

Acquaintances of the family say that the Serbian citizen has been living and working in Switzerland for years, and that he fathered the girl in an extramarital relationship.

"He fought for a long time for the girl to come and live with him," says the source.
