Aggressive driver, a gynecologist, indicted for attacking policeman while on drugs: Prosecution seeks 5 years

The Third Basic Prosecutor's Office in Belgrade has filed an indictment against gynecologist M.B. (51) on suspicion that he attacked an on duty police officer.

The Prosecution proposed to the court that the defendant be sentenced for the criminal offense in accordance with the law, and also asked for the defendant to be kept in detention.

The Prosecution is seeking a prison sentence of five years for M.B.

At the intersection of Milentija Popovica Street and Zorana Djindjica Boulevard in New Belgrade, M.B. ignored the order of a traffic policemen, who was diverting traffic because of a public gathering, and then drove his Mercedes towards the police officer, pushing him out of the away (with the car).
