Vucevic: By 2 pm, Serbian Army formations will be fully deployed along the administrative line

Defense Minister Milos Vucevic said today that the Serbian Army (VS) will remain at the highest level of combat readiness until Friday, and that the army's formations will be fully deployed along the administrative line (between central Serbia and Kosovo and Metohija) by 2 pm today.

Vucevic said that the point is for the Serbian Army to remain at the highest level of combat alert, but that he expects this issue to be resolved politically, not by war.

He added that Chief of the General Staff General Milan Mojsilovic is in constant communication with KFOR, whose task is to ensure peace and security of the Serb people in Kosovo and Metohija.

"It's good that KFOR has the will to keep the peace, but they should have sent away these usurpers, sent them, in accordance with all the agreements, south of the Ibar, thanked them. There is KFOR, there is EULEX, it is known who is taking care of security," said Vucevic.
