Dacic: We will not allow victims among Serbs because of unwillingness of international community

The head of Serbian diplomacy, Ivica Dacic, told RTS that the situation has been escalating for months because of the irresponsible behavior of Albin Kurti, which is causing conflict situations.

Commenting on the arrival of KFOR in front of municipal buildings in the north of Kosovo, Dacic said that KFOR's task was to prevent the unilateral act of Pristina, and not to prevent employees from entering the premises.

"They are now protecting the (Albanian) mayors under the pretext of preserving peace. It seems that they are protecting them from the owners of the buildings, the Serbs, from those who work there, who are employed there. They cannot be mayors in Serb municipalities that have not been elected by the Serbs," said Dacic.

He stressed that the Serbian Army is on standby.

"To allow for victims among the Serbs because of the unwillingness of the international community and the war adventurism of Kurti - we will not allow that," said Dacic.
