First reaction of father who had criminal complaint for child abduction dropped: His wife had reported him
Masan Lubarda, who was accused by his wife Jelena Abramovic of taking their son to Switzerland without her knowledge on Good Friday, spoke for Telegraf.rs after the First Basic Public Prosecutor's Office in Belgrade rejected the criminal complaint the mother had filed against him.
"I don't want to comment on anything because of the violence I suffer, I ask for your understanding," Masan told us after the news arrived.
He did not want to talk about how the child is doing and where they are at the moment.
The First Basic Public Prosecutor's Office in Belgrade confirmed for Telegraf that the criminal complaint was dismissed.
Lubarda recently stated that it is not true that he acted contrary to the regulations of the Republic of Serbia when he crossed the border with his minor son. He did not answer when asked whether he crossed the border with forged documents, as the media had previously claimed.
He added that the Swiss judiciary issued a decision on January 30 to award him custody of their son. He also claimed that he never received the divorce papers - however, Jelena told Telegraf.rs that Masan was informed of her decision to start the proceedings on the same day that happened, and by her personally.
"I saw all the things he said, but I didn't comment on anything because I had already told the whole story before him. I already said that we had residence permits and lived in Switzerland. I really don't want to comment on our private conflicts or air our dirty laundry as he does. One day, my child will read this and there is no need for that," Jelena told our portal.
