3 young men died in Serbia within 17 hours, each had an almost identical death: Don't repeat their mistake

Three young lives ended tragically yesterday, within just 17 hours. They were killed in two traffic accidents, both of which happened where the road bends and in places which the locals say are "black spots."

A little after midnight yesterday, Bojan K. died at the very entrance to the village of Uljma, where he lived.

He lost control of the car in a curve, went off the road and hit a walnut tree located in front of one of the houses at the entrance to the village. As locals told Telegraf.rs, he died on the spot and they could not help him in any way.

The locals in Mastan who heard the terrible sound of a crash ran out and then went back home to get metal bars or anything they could use to open the car in order to get out the two survivors - a seriously injured girl (17) who was transported to Belgrade, and a young man (20) who was taken to a hospital in the town of Vrsac.

The village is stunned. Everyone talks about how Bojan was a hard working and exemplary young man.

"He attended agricultural school, helped around the household, worked the land, maintained a vineyard. He drove a tractor, he was the head of the house. His sister recently had a child, he was very happy to become an uncle. He celebrated May Day with his friends, played with the children. He loved children very much," says a neighbor of this traffic accident's victim.

According to the locals, there are frequent traffic accidents at the same bend at the entrance to the village.

On the same day, around 5 pm, there was another crash, this time on the road Lazarevo-Secanj, also on the very edge of a settlement, near the local cemetery at the exit from Zaltica.

M.I. (21) from Boka near Secanj and A.V. from Velika Greda near Vrsac were killed in a head-on collision between a Fiat and an Audi. The cause of the crash is not known, but eyewitnesses say that it was most likely speeding, and that one of the cars, for reasons as yet unknown, swerved into the opposite lane.

Firefighters had to cut through the cars in order to extract the bodies of the young men. In that place, as well as in Uljma, traffic accidents with fatal consequences have occurred before.
