While firefighters and police were on standby in a truck, wearing full gear, an anti-tank hand grenade that was found in a house in Belgrade's Cukarica municipality exploded.

Parts of the facade and windows flew out from the house, and the detonation, although muffled, echoed throughout the neighborhood.
The bomb was located on the ground floor of the house.
In addition to firefighters and police, an ambulance team was also at the scene, but no one was injured.
As one of the neighbors told us, someone allegedly threw the device into this house but it didn't detonate, after which the MUP (Interior Ministry) was alerted.
Explosive device found
The explosive device was found at 11:32, and members of the Serbian Army, with the support of the police, destroyed the anti-tank hand grenade.
They previously took all safety measures and engaged teams of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, emergency medical services and city services to destroy the device, it has been announced.
