Vucic: Open conversation with special envoy O'Sullivan, Serbia is guided by its own interests

President of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic announced today that during the meeting with the EU special envoy for sanctions, David O'Sullivan, he reiterated that Serbia is committed to cooperation with the EU in the field of foreign, security and defense policy, but that when considering any decision on the possible introduction of measures against any country, it is governed exclusively by international law and protection of its own interests.

Vucic posted on the Instagram account "buducnostsrbijeav" that he had an open conversation with special envoy O'Sullivan.

"I reiterated that Serbia is committed to cooperation with the EU in the field of foreign, security and defense policy, while respecting the obligations arising from the SAA and the Negotiating Framework, but also that when considering any decision on the possible introduction of measures against any country, it is guided exclusively by international law and protection of its national, state, political and economic interests," wrote Vucic.
