Initiative launched to make brave victim of school shooting, a girl, Serbia's national hero
E.K., the seventh-grade student bravely stood in front of the murderer and asked him - 'why are you doing this, stop' - and her action meant that seven other children survived.
This brave girl was not on the suspected mass schooter K.K.'s kill list - but the seven boys who were on it, are now alive thanks to the heroine.
"Let E.K. be promoted to a national heroine. Maybe a school should be named after her... at least some big sporting (memorial event in Serbia) should be named after her...," the post said.
"E.K. needs to be declared a national heroine. Maybe name a school after her. At least some sports memorial tournament for example...," it was posted.
As it is further stated in the post, when everyone froze in fear or ran away in panic, regardless, the spartan gene of her ancestors woke up in this elementary school Serbian schoolgirl, and she bravely stood up in front of K.K., the suspected mass murderer of 8 of his classmates.
"Such a selfless act is an expression of the ultimate human virtue and value. Glory eternal to her!," those behind the proposal have said.
