Serbian football players Stefan Mitrovic and Nemanja Maksimovic paid tribute to the victims of the tragedy that happened in Belgrade on Wednesday morning, when teenager K.K. (14) killed eight children and a school guard in Vracar, Belgrade.

Namely, before Getafe's match against Celta, Mitrovic and Maksimovic appeared in t-shirts with the word "Beograd" ("Belgrade) and the date May 3, 2023 printed on them. A date that will undoubtedly be remembered as one of the darkest in the history of our country.

Dusan Vlahovic also spoke about the tragedy in Belgrade while on the verge of tears after the match in which he scored a goal for Juventus, while Mitrovic and Maksimovic found some joy on Wednesday evening considering their team winning important three points.

Getafe beat Celta 1-0, with a goal in the opening moments of the game, and now have 34 points, as much as Valencia, with whom they share the 18th spot in the table, which is the demotion zone. Cadiz and Valladolid have one more point each.
