The police, in cooperation with the Third Basic Public Prosecutor's Office in Belgrade, arrested domestic abuser LJ.M. (33), whom a young woman (28) reported for kidnapping, abuse and torture, Telegraf.rs has learned.

He has been remanded in custody for up to 30 days.

The unfortunate young woman (her name is known to the editorial staff) came to the police and reported that her partner kidnapped her, locked her in a house and kept her there for days.

"The victim said that her boyfriend took her to his house where, after an argument, he insulted her, and when she wanted to escape, locked her up. He kept her under lock and key for days. She said that he beat, tortured and abused her. At one point, she managed to escape and get to a doctor. There, they diagnosed her with severe physical injuries, her eardrum ruptured from the blows to the head," says our source close to the investigation.

A search warrant was immediately issued for the suspect, as he was hiding in Belgrade after committing the crime.

We have found out that the Belgrade police arrested him on Saturday in the municipality of Surcin.
