Agreement reached on salary increase in defense industry factory Krusik

Representatives of the Strike Committee and the management of the company HK Krusik a.d. Valjevo have reached an agreement on increasing the salary of workers until the end of 2023, through seven monthly one-time hikes.

The net amount of payments ranges from 8,000 dinars for the lowest complexity groups to 4,000 dinars for the highest complexity groups.

Previously, in accordance with an earlier promise, a one-time increase was paid on the occasion of Orthodox Easter in the net amount of 5,500 dinars for the lowest complexity groups, up to 2,500 dinars for the highest complexity groups.

The adopted agreement gave priority to financial support for the most socially vulnerable categories. The position of the management and the Strike Committee is that both parties, through joint efforts, should create conditions for increasing the scope of the implementation of contracted jobs, which opens up space for the growth of workers' wages in the coming period.

President of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic stressed earlier on Thursday that Krusik will never be destroyed, although there have been such attempts, but that the citizens of Serbia should know that almost 500 workers are not coming to work to that factory every day, and he that they (the authorities) will never agree to blackmail, but will talk to everyone.
