Dacic: We asked for help from France to evacuate Serbs from Sudan
The head of Serbian diplomacy, Ivica Dacic, said on Thursday that he asked Minister of Foreign Affairs of France Catherine Colonna for help in evacuating several dozen Serbian citizens who live or work in Sudan, and who expressed their desire to leave that country.
After a meeting with Colonna, he said that he asked her to consider the possibility that France, since it is already doing this for its citizens, could try to help in the evacuation of Serbian citizens in Sudan.
"We will ask our partners for help, because Serbia does not have that possibility on its own. Some Arab countries have carried out a complete evacuation, but without special security factors, which Serbia is unable to do," said Dacic.
