Man jumps from 15th floor of a building in Uzice, and survives: This is how they saved his life
An elderly man from Uzice, who threatened to commit suicide by jumping from the top of a tall building this morning, did jump from the 15th floor but - lukickily- survived.
He did not fall to the basement, but onto a safety net that was placed between the floors.
"The man was taken to the hospital in Uzice in an ambulance. The degree of his injuries is not known for now. Negotiators from the MUP (Interior Ministry) also arrived at the scene this morning, but despite everything, the man still jumped," it was confirmed for the RINA agency.
The drama in Marije Mage Magazinovic Street started this morning around 9 o'clock when a man climbed the building with the intention of jumping.
He was on the banister at the top of the stairs inside the building.
The MUP negotiation team immediately placed a safety net between the 8th and 9th floors, which saved this man's life!
The doctors said later in the day that his condition is for now stable and not life-threatening.
