First photos of serious accident on Belgrade: Trucks collide, one person is in serious condition

Freight vehicles collided this morning on the Belgrade bypass. According to unofficial information, four people were injured, reports RTS.

The crash occurred this morning around 6 o'clock near the roundabout in Resnik, and traffic was stopped there.

Ambulance, firefighting and traffic police crews are at the scene.

According to unofficial information, four people were injured. One person was admitted to the VMA Emergency Center.

"A patient injured in a collision between two trucks has been admitted. He is in a serious condition, it is a case of multiple traumas with head injuries, so diagnostics are underway. He is in the surgical intensive care, and we expect the arrival of three more patients," Dr. Goran Pavlicevic, the chief on duty surgeon at the VMA, told RTS.

Traffic suspended on Belgrade bypass

Traffic from the Strazevica tunnel in the direction of Bubanj Potok and Dobanovci has been suspended on the bypass because of the accident.

The public company Putevi Srbije added that the public will be informed in a timely manner about normalization of traffic on that road.
