Lajcak: If there is no ZSO, there is no deal
The EU's special envoy for dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina, Miroslav Lajcak, spoke about the prerequisites for the implementation of a European plan in an interview for RTS's Oko program that will be broadcast tonight at 6:25 pm, and mentioned the ZSO as the basic precondition.
Miroslav Lajcak said that if one looks at the EU proposal, it talks about normalization, not about some kind of capitulation.
Lajcak repeated on several occasions that the Community of Serb Municipalities (ZSO) must be formed and underlined that "if there is no ZSO, there is no agreement."
The goal, says Lajcak, is not for someone to win or lose. "The goal is to look for a win-win situation and to open the European door," said Lajcak.
The meeting in Ohrid aims to produce agreement to implement the agreement, which has the kind of support from the EU that, he stressed, he does not remember in the past.
Miroslav Lajcak has been in Belgrade since yesterday. Today, he is continuing his talks with President of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic. Lajcak also held a meeting with some opposition parties.
The interview with Milica Kulic will air this evening on RTS 1.
