"State is defended with great deeds, not words": Vucic's video summary of his visit to Pcinj District

President of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic visited the Pcinj District (Pcinjski Okrug) over the weekend. He talked to the locals, listened to their successes and struggles, and then on his Instagram account "buducnostsrbijeav" addressed the citizens with a video of support.

This is how the president summed up his impressions after his visit to the Pcinj District, where he received great gratitude from the citizens, since he is the only president who often talks about this part of Serbia and invests.

"One of the most difficult, but also the most beautiful duties of the president is talking to the people. These are the moments you live for, but also fear, because they are the only ones who hold you accountable for everything you do. There is no better criticism and stronger support than the honest words of our people, who talk to me like a friend, proud and on their own, words devoid of the hypocrisy of those who change their behavior in front of the presidential office.

I started the battle to restore a solid unity of our people in the Pcinj District. I listened to their questions, heard problems and advice, remarks and support. I saw the hope that we can achieve everything we set out to do.

I felt enormous energy and willingness to gather and close our ranks, to all be on one team - above every party, personal interest, ideology or benefit, and under one single flag, the proud tricolor of our Serbia, its future, well-being, progress and independence!

I saw determination to unite all our differences into something that is holier than any politics, to endure and overcome all the challenges, because a state is defended with great deeds, not great words. Long live Serbia!," wrote the president.
