Lajcak: Community of Serb Municipalities will be formed based one of 15 existing European models
He added that he presented 15 European models of structures similar to the ZSO to the prime minister of Pristina institutions, Albin Kurti.
The Community of Serb Municipalities (ZSO), as one of the repeated demands of the international community, will be formed based on one of the 15 existing European models, the EU's special envoy for dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina, Miroslav Lajcak, said late on Thursday, adding that this is not currently on the agenda of the dialogue.
He said that the management team should first present a proposal for the ZSO, and then discuss the criticisms of both sides, the Pristina based site Reporteri writes.
"This is clearly stated in the agreement from 2013. It is the management team that has to present the proposal and then both sides have the opportunity to give their counter-proposals and comments, and this is a process in which Kosovo and Serbia are equal partners. The European Union will then make sure that what we have agreed on is in accordance with European standards and values," Lajcak told ATV, Tanjug reproted.
He added that he presented 15 European models of structures similar to the ZSO to the prime minister of Pristina institutions, Albin Kurti, which, according to him, could serve as an inspiration for how the ZSO will function in Kosovo and Metohija.
