Members of Kosovo police Rosu unit assault two young Serbs near Leposavic
Members of the Kosovo police special unit Rosu harassed and inflicted physical injuries on young Serb men L.DJ. (23) and DJ.M. (24) in the village of Josanica near Leposavic.
The victims live in that village. They are now in the surgery ward of the northern Kosovska Mitrovica clinic and their condition is being monitored, and for now they are feeling well, reports Kosovo-online.com.
As DJ.M. confirmed for Kosovo Online, he and L.DJ. were in a car last night and moving slowly, when members of Rosu stopped them and pulled them out next to the vehicle, and then started hitting them in the head.
"Around 7:30 pm we drove slowly through the village in our car, looking for my phone that I had lost. I was driving slowly when we were intercepted by two SUVs from which about eight uniformed special policemen got out. They pulled us out of the car and started harassing us. They hit us in the head, in the ribs, and when they realized that we live here, they let us go home. We are both in the hospital, our ribs hurt, but for now we are doing well and are under observation," said DJ.M.
He added that they did not report the case to the Kosovo police.
